HBE Launches Employee Wellness Program, HBE(be)Well

At HBE, we encourage our employees to consider health and wellness an everyday part of their lives. Our employees are our most important resource and the investment our organization has made in our wellness program reflects this.

Launched in January 2018, HBE(be)Well, our comprehensive wellness program provides numerous benefits for our employees. Wellness screenings, an online health tracker, wellness coaching sessions, quarterly challenges, and health-based incentives are some of the benefits offered to encourage employees to be their best in all aspects of well being.

HBE(be)Well encompasses all six dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, and social. The program’s online health tracker provides staff with a simple way to log their recommended preventative screenings, take a proactive approach to prevent illness and injury, and reach their wellness goals.

Our wellness year kicked off with a health screening and wellness assessment. To coincide with our busiest time of year, tax season, we conducted our first quarter challenge on stress management. Related perks included workstation ergonomics assessments and in-house chair massages. Other activities include walking club, fresh fruit available in break rooms, and a flu shot clinic in the fall.
