HBE Supports United Way Loaned Executive Program

Through the United Way Loaned Executives program, community-minded organizations like HBE Becker Meyer Love LLP loan personnel to participate as campaign associates in the annual United Way/Community Health Charities of Nebraska fundraising campaign. Loaned Executives assist in implementing workplace campaigns, volunteering their expertise and energy to help expand fundraising efforts, reach new markets and broaden the base of community giving. In addition, the program delivers leadership development and growth opportunities by providing experience in business planning, project management, customer relationship management, public speaking and presentations.

HBE has supported the United Way Loaned Executive program for over five years. Past participants include Krystal Siebrandt, Jimmy Schulz, and Steven Coleman. For 2012, Taylor Emshoff and John Kampfe (pictured above) served as Loaned Executives from the HBE office.

My experience with the Loaned Executive program was very rewarding. The United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County has an amazing staff and they are all so passionate about the United Way, which was easily transferred to the Loaned Executives and made volunteering for them very fun. My favorite part of  the program was participating in the United Day of Caring because it was a great way to give back to the community while also learning more about the different agencies in Lincoln that are there to help.
~ Taylor Emshoff, Loaned Executive 2012

The United Way Loaned Executive Program was such a rewarding experience.  It gave me the opportunity to expand my professional network while learning about the needs ofthe people in our community.  I commend United Way for being an excellent steward of our charitable resources and for making our community a better place to live and work.
~ Krystal Siebrandt, Loaned Executive, 2007-2008

Thank you, Loaned Executives, for your commitment to United Way and to our community!
